MuruStone Hearth Surrounds are created through a special transfer process in which a high-resolution digital image of natural stone is impregnated into a coated cement board. The image is actually imbedded into the substance to a depth of 7 mils. The result is a beautiful, enduring, and very realistic surface that is almost impossible to distinguish from the real thing. How does it perform? It performs like a pro because MuruStone has been thoroughly tested for fire, scratch mar and stain resistance. Naturally, its quality is guaranteed. MuruStone is easy to install and weighs only 21 pounds so is inexpensive to ship. We offer MuruStone hearth surrounds in a standard 60" size or you can special order other sizes. Or you can cut pieces to your specifications.
Other colors available special order are regal granite, gloscester rust, rust granite, port royal granite, emerald isle marble, ebony marble, and ivory marble. Riser can be special ordered.

We stock the most popular Thermo-Rite Brass-Plated Glass Door. These are the Regal Antique Brass Clearview Bifold and Regal Polished Brass Clearview Bifold, both with tinted bronze glass. One of the things we really love about this style of glass door is the "Clearview" feature - no vertical brass strips on the glass. The fire looks like a work of art in a elegant filigreed frame. Spark screens are available, but aren't standard with each door. So if you want spark screens, order them separately. Doors come with a lifetime warranty on glass and a 5-year warranty on frame finish.

These mantels are available on a special order
basis. 
A fireplace hood accessory may be necessary to deflect
heat away from your mantel shelf. Vanguard's hoods fit
fireplace openings from 28" to 48" wide, and they protrude 3
1/2". They install easily with glass doors or to the lintel of
the fireplace opening.
Product Note: Top piece is 8"
X 48". Side pieces are 6" X 36". May be cut to
fit.
Colors in stock are honey
beige marble, executive granite and gray slate. The gray
slate, or "MuruSlate" is a "budget" non-digital impregnated
style.
